How it works

How does Sodatide work, step by step?

Take one Sodatide capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water, keep eating fiber-rich food, and judge it inside the 60-day refund window. The two fibers feed gut bacteria, and three probiotics add to them.

A plain routine: read the label, take one capsule a day with water, keep eating fiber-rich food, and judge it inside the refund window.

  1. 01

    Read the label

Two fibers with printed amounts, plus a 36 mg blend of three bacteria with no CFU count.

  2. 02

    Take one capsule

One capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. Keep the bottle in the fridge.

  3. 03

    Build the real fiber

Studies used grams of fiber. Beans, oats, vegetables and fruit supply that; a capsule cannot.

  4. 04

    Judge it by day 60

Track meals, hunger and digestion. Ask for a refund inside 60 days if it is not for you.

The label calls Sodatide "Metabolic & Digestive Support". It pairs two prebiotic fibers with three probiotic bacteria.

The name sounds like prescription GLP-1 medicines, but Sodatide contains no drug and is not a GLP-1 treatment or a stand-in for one (NIDDK prescription obesity medicines). It is a dietary supplement, and the FDA does not review supplements for effectiveness before they are sold (FDA 101 Dietary Supplements).

Sodatide itself has not been tested in a published trial. Our full explainer separates what each ingredient was studied for from what one capsule can hold.

Ingredients

Sodatide Ingredients: what is in the capsule

Each Sodatide capsule has 347 mg: chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg and a 36 mg blend of Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila.

Five ingredients in 347 mg per capsule: two fibers with printed amounts and three bacteria that share a 36 mg blend.

Fresh chicory roots with green leaves on a white table
Chicory root, the source of the inulin in Sodatide. One capsule holds 211 mg of inulin.

Why milligrams and grams matter

Inulin and resistant starch are real, well-studied fibers. The catch is the dose. EFSA accepted a regularity effect for chicory inulin only at 12 grams a day (EFSA 2015 chicory inulin claim). One capsule holds 211 milligrams, about 2% of that.

Probiotics are counted in live cells (CFU), not milligrams. The NIH says to look for a CFU count on the label (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)), and Sodatide's label prints none. Akkermansia, the best known of the three, was studied at 10 billion cells a day (Depommier 2019 Nat Med Akkermansia pilot).

The label

What does the Sodatide label say?

The Sodatide label front shows three claims with asterisks: metabolic and digestive support, appetite control and satiety, and energy from fats. The Supplement Facts panel lists the five ingredients and their amounts.

Tap a number on the label to read what that line says and what it means.

Tap a number to see what that part of the label says.

  1. Advanced Metabolic Science

A banner on the front. It is a brand phrase, not a study or an approval.

  2. Three front claims

Metabolic & digestive support, appetite control and satiety, energy from fats. Each has an asterisk: the FDA has not evaluated them.

  3. Serving size

1 capsule, 30 servings: one bottle lasts 30 days.

  4. Chicory root inulin 211 mg

A prebiotic fiber. Studies used 5-12 grams a day, about 24 to 57 capsules' worth.

  5. Potato resistant starch 100 mg

Trials used about 6 to 66 grams a day, at least 60 times more.

  6. Probiotic blend 36 mg

Three bacteria share 36 mg. Probiotics are dosed in live cells (CFU), and none is printed.

  7. The three strains

    B. infantis, C. butyricum and Akkermansia are named by species only, with no strain codes.

  8. Other ingredients

Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.

  9. Suggested use

One capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. Refrigerate for optimal quality.

  10. Caution

Pregnant or nursing, under 18, or a known medical condition: consult a physician first.

Dose check

How do Sodatide's amounts compare with research?

Sodatide's printed fiber amounts are small next to the doses studied in people. The label shows 211 mg of chicory root inulin and 100 mg of potato resistant starch, while studies used grams a day.

Each top bar is the printed amount. The bottom bar is the lowest amount studies used, drawn to the same scale.

Each "Label" bar is drawn to scale against the research dose or daily guideline beside it. Both fibers have printed amounts per 1-capsule serving. The probiotic blend is left out because it is dosed in live cells (CFU), which the label does not print. Studies tested each ingredient alone, not Sodatide.

Food closes the gap

Adults need about 21 to 38 grams of fiber a day (MedlinePlus dietary fiber). One capsule adds roughly a third of a gram. Beans, oats, vegetables and fruit supply the rest; our fiber foods guide shows how.

Daily routine

When should you take Sodatide?

The label says one capsule daily with an 8 oz glass of water. It sets no time of day. The sales page suggests the morning, before a meal.

Claims vs evidence

Does Sodatide work? What the evidence can and cannot say

No study has tested Sodatide. The fair way to judge it is to set each label claim beside what public sources say about its ingredients.

Sodatide label claims next to the evidence for its ingredients. Sources linked in each row.
Label claimIngredients behind itWhat the evidence says
Metabolic & digestive support*Inulin, resistant starchRegularity effects at 12 g of inulin a day (EFSA 2015 chicory inulin claim); resistant starch showed limited cardiometabolic benefit at 8 to 66 g (Snelson 2019 RS2 meta-analysis).
Appetite control and satiety*Inulin, resistant starchInulin weight trials used about 10 g a day and found under 1 kg average change (Reimer 2025 chicory ITF weight meta-analysis (trade report)).
Energy production from fats*Akkermansia, C. butyricumOne 32-person pilot of mostly pasteurized Akkermansia found better insulin sensitivity, but no significant weight change (Depommier 2019 Nat Med Akkermansia pilot).

Safety

Is Sodatide safe? Side effects and who should be careful

Fiber at these small amounts rarely causes trouble, but no safety study of Sodatide exists. Ask a doctor first if you have a weakened immune system or a serious illness, because probiotics carry a small infection risk.

Fiber at these small amounts rarely causes trouble. The main questions are about the probiotics, which the label does not name by strain.

Who should talk to a doctor first, and why. Sources linked.
If you...Why it matters
Have a weakened immune system or a serious illnessProbiotics carry a small infection risk in people who are severely ill or immunocompromised (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)).
Have IBS or a sensitive gutInulin is a type of fructan, and fructans can trigger IBS symptoms (Monash FODMAP high/low foods).
Are pregnant or nursingThe label says to consult a physician first, and EFSA's Akkermansia safety opinion excluded pregnancy and breastfeeding (EFSA 2021 pasteurised Akkermansia).
Take a GLP-1 or diabetes medicineKeep taking your prescription as directed. Sodatide is not a substitute (NIDDK prescription obesity medicines).
Are under 18The label says to consult a physician first.
Before you take it

Sodatide is a dietary supplement, not a drug. Ask your doctor first if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, have a known medical condition, a weakened immune system or a serious illness, or have IBS that flares with fiber: the label says to consult a physician in these cases, and probiotics carry extra risk when immunity is low. See side effects and interactions.

FAQ

Sodatide FAQ: ingredients, side effects, price and refunds

These answers cover what Sodatide is made of, its price, refunds, FDA status, whether it is a GLP-1 medicine and whether it works. Each answer follows the product label and the sales page.

What is Sodatide made of?

Sodatide is a dietary supplement in vegetarian capsules. Each capsule lists chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg and a 36 mg blend of Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila.

Is Sodatide the same as a GLP-1 medicine?

No. Despite the name, Sodatide contains no drug and is not a GLP-1 medicine like semaglutide or tirzepatide. It is a fiber and probiotic supplement, and no study has tested it.

How do I take Sodatide?

Take one capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water. The label sets no time, and the sales page suggests the morning before a meal. Keep the bottle in the fridge after opening, away from heat, light and humidity.

What are the side effects of Sodatide?

No safety study of Sodatide exists, so safety rests on its ingredients. Fiber at these small amounts rarely causes trouble. The main questions are about the probiotics, so ask a doctor first if you have a weakened immune system or a serious illness.

Who should not take Sodatide?

Ask a doctor before using Sodatide if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, have a weakened immune system or a serious illness, or take prescription medicine. The label asks for a physician's advice in these cases.

How much does one bottle of Sodatide cost?

The sales page sells packs, not single bottles: 2 bottles for $158 plus shipping, 3 for $207 and 6 for $294 with free U.S. shipping. That is $79, $69 or $49 a bottle.

How does the Sodatide refund work?

The sales page gives a 60-day money-back guarantee from purchase, after at least 30 days of use. Call +1 (302) 200-3480 with your order ID; return shipping is paid by the buyer.

Is Sodatide FDA approved?

No. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements before sale, and Sodatide is a dietary supplement. The label prints the usual notice that its claims have not been evaluated by the FDA.

Is Sodatide legit or a scam?

Sodatide is a real dietary supplement with a full label: 211 mg chicory root inulin, 100 mg potato resistant starch and a 36 mg probiotic blend per capsule. The sales page gives a 60-day money-back guarantee. No study has tested Sodatide itself, so judge it on the label and the guarantee.

Does Sodatide really work?

Nobody can promise it will, because no study has tested Sodatide itself. It is a fiber and probiotic supplement with two prebiotic fibers and three probiotics. The 60-day money-back window gives you time to see how your digestion feels.

Is this the Sodatide official website?

This website is run by a licensed U.S. retail desk for Sodatide, not by the manufacturer. Its order links go to the sales page, where you pick a pack and check out. Product facts here follow the label and the sales page.
