Sodatide Supplement Facts Label, Line by Line
The Sodatide label lists a 1-capsule serving and 30 servings per bottle.
Each capsule has 211 mg chicory root inulin, 100 mg potato resistant starch and a 36 mg blend of three bacteria. It leaves out a CFU count, strain codes, and whether the Akkermansia is live or pasteurized.

What does the Sodatide Supplement Facts panel say?
One capsule is one serving, and a bottle holds 30. Each number on the label matches a note below.
Tap a number to see what that part of the label says.
- Advanced Metabolic Science
A banner on the front. It is a brand phrase, not a study or an approval.
- Three front claims
Metabolic & digestive support, appetite control and satiety, energy from fats. Each has an asterisk: the FDA has not evaluated them.
- Serving size
1 capsule, 30 servings: one bottle lasts 30 days.
- Chicory root inulin 211 mg
A prebiotic fiber. Studies used 5-12 grams a day, about 24 to 57 capsules' worth.
- Potato resistant starch 100 mg
Trials used about 6 to 66 grams a day, at least 60 times more.
- Probiotic blend 36 mg
Three bacteria share 36 mg. Probiotics are dosed in live cells (CFU), and none is printed.
- The three strains
B. infantis, C. butyricum and Akkermansia are named by species only, with no strain codes.
- Other ingredients
Hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.
- Suggested use
One capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water. Refrigerate for optimal quality.
- Caution
Pregnant or nursing, under 18, or a known medical condition: consult a physician first.

- Made in the USA
"Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients." The plant is not named.
Printed amounts
How much of each ingredient does one Sodatide capsule contain?
Three amounts add up to 347 mg per capsule. The third is a blend of three bacteria sharing one weight.
| Label line | Per capsule | Per bottle | % Daily Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chicory Root Inulin (Cichorium intybus)(root) | 211 mg | About 6.3 g | † Not established |
| Potato (Resistant Starch) (tuber) | 100 mg | 3 g | † Not established |
| Probiotic Blend | 36 mg | 1.08 g | † Not established |
| CFU count for the blend | Not published | Not published | None |
| Total | 347 mg | About 10.4 g | None |
What the dagger symbol means
The † stands for "Daily Value Not Established." FDA rules use it for any ingredient with no official daily amount (FDA labeling guide ch. IV). It says nothing about safety or whether the dose works.
Gaps
What does the Sodatide label leave out?
Four details that matter for a probiotic product are not on the bottle.
FDA rules require only a total weight for a blend, with parts listed from most to least (FDA labeling guide ch. IV). That is legal, but not enough to compare with research.
A CFU count
Probiotics are dosed in live cells, or CFU, often 1 to 10 billion a dose (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)). The 36 mg weight counts live and dead cells alike. The NIH says to look for CFU through the end of shelf life (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)).
Strain codes
The three bacteria are named by species only. Research results belong to single strains, such as B. infantis 35624 (Whorwell 2006 B. infantis 35624 IBS). Without a code, no study can be matched to the capsule.
Live or pasteurized Akkermansia
Akkermansia is sold in two forms, and they were studied separately. The label does not say which one Sodatide uses.
Each bacterium's share
Label order gives only ceilings: B. infantis at most 36 mg, C. butyricum at most 18 mg, Akkermansia at most 12 mg. The true split could be very uneven.
One missing word
Why does it matter if Sodatide's Akkermansia is live or pasteurized?
Because the safety review and the best result both apply to the pasteurized, non-living form. The label does not say which form is inside.
EFSA judged pasteurized Akkermansia safe for adults at 34 billion cells a day (EFSA 2021 pasteurised Akkermansia). It says nothing about live Akkermansia and excludes pregnant and breastfeeding women.
In the 2019 pilot, the pasteurized form improved insulin sensitivity in 12 people (Depommier 2019 Nat Med Akkermansia pilot). The live form, given to 9 people, did not change most markers. Weight change was not significant in either group.
The label's advice to refrigerate could hint at live cultures, but it does not say so. Whether live Akkermansia survives air and storage is still debated (Machado 2020 Akkermansia oxygen/GI survival). Ask the brand which form it uses and how many cells a capsule holds. The Akkermansia profile covers the research in detail.
Front of the bottle
What do the claims on the front of the Sodatide bottle mean?
They are the brand's own words, and the FDA has not evaluated them. The front reads "Metabolic & Digestive Support", "Supports appetite control and satiety" and "Promotes energy production from fats". Each ends with an asterisk.
These are structure/function claims. The FDA does not approve them before sale, and the label must carry a disclaimer (FDA structure/function claims). Sodatide's reads: "These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."
Sodatide itself has not been tested in a published trial. The FTC says health claims need research that matches the product's dose and formula, and that a product's name counts toward the impression it gives (FTC Health Products Compliance Guidance). The name sounds like a GLP-1 drug, but Sodatide contains no drug and is not a GLP-1 medicine.

Directions on the label give no time of day. The sales page adds a morning dose before a meal; that timing is its suggestion, not the label's.
Fair verdict
Is the Sodatide label complete, and what should you ask?
It covers the legal basics and leaves out the probiotic details. A label must name the maker or distributor and give a U.S. address or phone for problem reports (FDA supplements Q&A). Sodatide's does.
What the label does well
- Two fiber amounts printed clearly
- Vegetarian capsule and all other ingredients listed
- Distributor, phone and email printed
What it leaves out
- No CFU count for the probiotic blend
- No strain codes for any bacterium
- Akkermansia form not stated
Three questions to send the brand
- How many CFU does each capsule hold at the end of shelf life?
- Which strains are used, by code?
- Is the Akkermansia live or pasteurized?
Email [email protected] with your questions. If a bacterium or a medicine worries you, show the label to your doctor or pharmacist before the first dose. To inspect the bottle itself, use the batch and bottle check.
FAQ
Sodatide Supplement Facts FAQ
What does the Sodatide Supplement Facts label list?
It lists a serving of 1 capsule, 30 servings per bottle, chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg, and a 36 mg probiotic blend of Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila. Every line carries a dagger meaning Daily Value not established.
Why doesn't the Sodatide label show a CFU count?
U.S. rules require only the total weight of a probiotic blend, so a CFU count is optional (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)) (FDA labeling guide ch. IV). Sodatide prints 36 mg and no CFU. That is legal, but it means you cannot tell how many live cells a capsule holds. Ask the brand.
Does the Sodatide label name the probiotic strains?
No. It names three species with no strain codes. Probiotic effects and safety are tied to specific strains (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)). For Clostridium butyricum in particular, EFSA says safety is a strain-level question (ACNFP C. butyricum TO-A paper), so ask the brand which strain it uses.
Does the Sodatide label say which Akkermansia form it uses?
The label does not say. That matters because EFSA's safety opinion covers only the pasteurized form (EFSA 2021 pasteurised Akkermansia), and the pasteurized form gave the better result in the 2019 pilot (Depommier 2019 Nat Med Akkermansia pilot). Email the brand for an answer before you rely on either form.
Who is listed on the Sodatide label as the distributor?
The label names Instituto Experience, Lakeland FL, 33804, with phone +1 (507) 448-8190 and email [email protected]. It also says "Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients" but does not name the plant. This website is a retail desk, not the manufacturer.
What does the caution on the Sodatide label say?
It says not to exceed the recommended dose. Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18 and people with a known medical condition should consult a physician first. It also says to keep the bottle away from children and not to use it if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
