Key facts
A Sodatide supplement facts panel looks simple: three lines, three numbers. But each number can be read three ways, per capsule, per bottle and per pack, and the way you read it changes what it seems to say.
This guide is a glossary of the panel's own words, followed by a worked table of totals for each pack. It ends with a short list of numbers the panel does not give. Use it with the bottle in your hand.
- Serving size: 1 capsule. Servings per container: 30.
- Per capsule: chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg, probiotic blend 36 mg. Together 347 mg.
- Daily Value is not established for any of the three lines, shown by a dagger mark.
- Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica.
- A whole 2-bottle pack holds about 12.7 g of inulin in total, close to the 12 g a day used in the EFSA regularity claim.
- Not on the panel: CFU count, strain codes, Akkermansia form and each bacterium's share.
The panel
What does the Sodatide supplement facts panel list?
Start at the top. The serving size is 1 capsule, and a container holds 30 servings. Below that come three lines, each with an amount and a dagger mark in place of a percent. The dagger stands for 'Daily Value not established'.
- Chicory Root Inulin (Cichorium intybus)(root), 211 mg.
- Potato (Resistant Starch)(tuber), 100 mg.
- Probiotic Blend, 36 mg, naming Bifidobacterium infantis, Clostridium butyricum and Akkermansia muciniphila.
Under the panel the label prints the other ingredients, the suggested use, the storage line, the caution and warnings, the FDA statement and the distributor. The full text is on our Supplement Facts page.
A to Z
What do the words on the Sodatide supplement facts panel mean?
| Panel word | Plain English | Sodatide example |
|---|---|---|
| Amount per serving | The weight in one serving | 211 mg, 100 mg and 36 mg |
| Daily Value (dagger) | A set daily amount; the dagger means none is set, which says nothing about safety or dose (FDA labeling guide ch. IV) | Dagger on all three lines |
| Other ingredients | Everything that is not an active line | Hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica |
| Probiotic blend | One total weight shared by several bacteria | 36 mg for three species |
| Serving size | What you take at one time | 1 capsule |
| Servings per container | How many servings are in the bottle | 30, which makes one bottle a month of capsules |
| Suggested use | The label's directions | One capsule daily with an 8 oz. glass of water |
A blend only has to show its total weight, with parts listed from most to least (FDA labeling guide ch. IV). That is legal. It is not enough to compare with research, which is why the blend's parts are only ceilings: at most 36 mg, 18 mg and 12 mg by label order.
Per bottle and per pack
How much do the Sodatide supplement facts add up to in a bottle or a pack?
Multiply the per-capsule numbers by the capsules in the pack. The sums are plain arithmetic from the panel.
| Pack | Capsules | Inulin | Resistant starch | Probiotic blend |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 capsule | 1 | 211 mg | 100 mg | 36 mg |
| 1 bottle | 30 | About 6.3 g | 3 g | 1.08 g |
| 2 bottles | 60 | About 12.7 g | 6 g | 2.16 g |
| 3 bottles | 90 | About 19 g | 9 g | 3.24 g |
| 6 bottles | 180 | About 38 g | 18 g | 6.48 g |
Here is the trap. The 12 g in the EFSA regularity claim is a daily dose (EFSA 2015 chicory inulin claim). A whole 2-bottle pack holds about that much inulin in total, spread over 60 days. Read per bottle, a number looks big. Read per day, it is small. Always divide by the days.

The gaps
Which numbers are missing from the Sodatide supplement facts?
Four details are not on the panel, and each one matters for a probiotic.
- CFU. Probiotics are dosed in live cells. The NIH advises looking for a count that holds to the end of shelf life (NIH ODS Probiotics (HP)).
- Strain codes. Study results belong to single strains. The panel names species only.
- Live or pasteurized Akkermansia. The two forms were studied separately (Depommier 2019 Nat Med Akkermansia pilot).
- Each bacterium's share. Only ceilings can be worked out.
Not published off the panel either: the plant, a third-party lab report and the certifier behind the badges. The lot SOD-26/SO-4238 and CoA SOD-4238-26-SO are seller reference codes, not lab proof. Our CFU explainer shows why the first gap is the biggest.
Three layers
How does the Sodatide supplement facts panel differ from the front label and the sales page?
| Layer | What it may say | Example | How much weight to give it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supplement Facts panel | Amounts and ingredients | 211 mg, 100 mg, 36 mg | Highest; it is the regulated part |
| Front label | Structure and function claims with an asterisk | 'Metabolic & Digestive Support*' | A brand claim, not a finding |
| Sales page | Marketing, timing tips, bonuses | 'Take it in the morning'; 'Supports appetite control and satiety*' | Lowest; follow the bottle if they differ |
When the layers disagree, the panel wins. The panel is where the numbers are, and the FDA does not approve any of the three layers before sale (FDA 101 Dietary Supplements).
Your turn
How can you read any supplement panel the way this one was read?
Find the serving
Is a serving one capsule or three? The totals depend on it.
Multiply to the pack
Per capsule times capsules gives the pack total. Then divide by days.
Spot the blend
A single weight for many parts hides the split.
Look for CFU and strains
For a probiotic, these two numbers matter most.
Ask for the rest
Email the address printed on the label and ask for what is missing.
This is a reading method, not medical advice. If you take medicine or have a condition, show the label to your doctor or pharmacist.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is on the Sodatide supplement facts panel?
A serving of 1 capsule, 30 servings per container, chicory root inulin 211 mg, potato resistant starch 100 mg and a 36 mg probiotic blend of three bacteria. Every line carries a dagger for Daily Value not established.
What does the dagger on the panel mean?
It stands for 'Daily Value not established'. FDA rules use it for any ingredient with no official daily amount. It says nothing about safety or whether the dose works.
Why is there no CFU on the panel?
U.S. rules ask only for a blend's total weight, so a CFU count is optional. Sodatide prints 36 mg and no CFU, which means you cannot tell how many live cells a capsule holds. Ask the brand.
How much inulin is in a whole bottle?
About 6.3 g, from 30 capsules at 211 mg each. The label dose is one capsule a day, so the daily amount stays at 211 mg.
Does the panel name the probiotic strains?
No. It names three species with no strain codes.
Is the panel enough to judge the product?
It is a start. It does not replace a lab report, a trial of the capsule or advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
The short verdict
Our view
The Sodatide supplement facts panel is honest about what it prints and silent about what it does not. Three weights are on the bottle. A live-cell count, strain codes and an outside lab report are not. Read the numbers per day, not per bottle, and the dose picture gets clear.
Our advice: use the panel as your anchor, ask the brand for the missing details and treat every claim outside the panel as the brand's own words.
Sodatide is a dietary supplement, so it is not FDA approved. The FDA has not evaluated the statements printed on the label, and the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. A doctor or pharmacist can read the panel with you if you take medicine or have a condition.
